The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a highly competitive entrance examination for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses in various medical colleges across India. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), it serves as the single entrance examination for all postgraduate medical courses. Eligibility requires candidates to possess an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college and have completed or be completing their one-year compulsory rotating internship by the specified cut-off date. The exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, carrying a total of 800 marks, to be completed within 3 hours and 30 minutes. It comprehensively tests knowledge across all subjects taught during the MBBS curriculum, including Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical disciplines.
